The Art In You

By Bruce Clifford

The art in you
The things you’ve done
You paint the scene
You make me believe in the very best of me

Your perspective and eye
The way you casually smile
It’s almost like we’ve had a breakthrough
Oh, it’s the art in you

Magela, what do we know
I could never forgive myself if I hurt you so
In all this excitement I became lost and confused
We have to remember the art in you
The art in you

We could have never known
We were so young and innocent
Since then we’ve lived and grown
Belson, Belson, Belson
