The Other Side

By Bruce Clifford

Turn to the other side
Take a look at what's been taken
Hold that thought for a moment
Let it go before it becomes broken

Turn to the other side
Take a look at what could have been
Count the ways you could have opened your heart
Who's to say that it's getting too late to try
Turn to the other side

I have been there once myself
The truth hurts that much sometimes
It's not about power, money, or wealth
Just turn to the other side

Turn to the other side
Hold on to your dreams and never let them go
So few men get a second chance
Clarity cannot be under sold

Turn to the other side
Take a look at what could have been
Count the ways you could have opened your heart
Who's to say that it's getting too late to try
Turn to the other side
