Where Our Spirits Rest

By Bud Lemire

Soul of my soul, breath of my breath
Away from the flesh, where our spirits rest
Deep in our spirit, where lies the soul
Two becomes one, of all things we know
Feel through your senses, beyond what is seen
Spirits touching flesh, and all things in between
Energies flowing back and forth between us
Completeness is forming, based on our trust
Heart beating harder, your presence is known
Our souls are united, we each aren't alone
Step by step, we walk through this land
United we are, by the spiritual hand
A love based on spirit, so deep and so clear
Our souls merged together, the veil disappeared
Seeing and knowing, what the other one feels
Energies flowing, as they touch and they heal
A force that is felt, before the presence is seen
So sensitive is our connection, so strong and so keen
So close together, our energies blend
With loving thoughts, so deep that we send
Soul of my soul, breath of my breath
Away from the flesh, where our spirits rest
Deep in our spirit, where lies the soul
Two becomes one, of all things we know
