Circles

By Bruce Clifford

Circles running around your mind
Picking messages out of the sky
Rubbing the pieces in your eye
Why, why, why

Laughing and laughter pour in the night
Endless disasters are always in sight
Circles are running from here until there
Is there anyone out there who really cares

Maybe tomorrow during the light of the day
Robbing the healers who have gone astray
Tossing the circle one by one underhand
Is there anyone out there who understands

Circles running around in your head
Misguided adventures have all been read
All we have ever wanted to be said, said.
