Believe Me

By Bruce Clifford

Believe me I'm not getting any younger
But if you see me I'm not acting any older
All of my life thinking what is this all for
Where are we going to now as we sail along this ocean floor

Catch a glimpse
Hide the light
Feel the vision of time and darkness
Make the new day right

Believe me I'm not seeing the world the way I used to see it
All the pain and suffering that's now so troubling
Now I'm searching for the way things used to be
A concept to carry me away

Catch a glimpse
Tomorrow is another day
Feel the light
Chase the demons away

It's not like it was yesterday
It's not like this today
Believe me
