After Everything

By Bruce Clifford

You're on the edge of two extremes
You're on the cusp of endless dreams
You're on the boat to take you out
You're on the line of trust and doubt

You're on the cliff of empty voids
You're on the wave of what's been destroyed
You're on the fence to let him in
You're on the ledge of where this begins

What are you missing
What are you going to do
There's no reason to fight this thing
After everything we've been through

You're on the corner of time
You're vision is clear but not you're mind
You're on the train to the sea
You're on the highway of fantasy

What are you missing
What are you going to do
There's no reason to fight this thing
After everything we've been through

After everything between me and you
After everything is done
What will you have left to carry on
