I'm Really Not So Sure

By Bruce Clifford

I'm really not so sure
I've seen this every hour
I don't believe in time
You don't water the flowers

Night turns into shades
The cover of the blind
Sleepless lonely socks
Discover what they shall find

I'm really not so sure
I've seen this every second
I don't surrender to the sun
Or all I am second guessing
This is a holy blessing

Weeks turn into dust
Grains of falling waves
The moment we awake
We discover who's next to blame

I'm really not so sure
I've seen this every second
I don't surrender to the sun
Or all I am second guessing
This is a holy blessing
