Walking into the Sun

By Bruce Clifford

Walking into the sun
Like the battles before
Translucent fixtures on my mind
Is there a remedy at shore

Reaching out across this place
Like a memory I never knew
Organic crystals of the mind
It gets me every time
And I don't know what to do

Walking into the sun
Could there be more
Is something better in store
The simple things are now a chore

Reaching out across this place
Like a memory I longed to save
Pieces of stardust play with my mind
It takes me down each and every time
And I never know what to do
