Circling Time

By Bruce Clifford

Circling time while my heart breaks on anything
Betrayal and pride as my heart's yearning for everything
Suddenly I'm mystified
Like my emotions have died
I can't say I haven't tried
Going on this auto atomic ride

Cruising around in circles while my mind stays on you
Even when I can't see your eyes, they're the only vision I can see through
I don't know what I'm going to do
I don't know what I'm going to do
You stole my heart and I can't let you go
You've got me in this emotional tangled hold

Circling time while my heart is shattered
Memories collide while my faith in love is scattered
Does it really matter
Does it really matter

Up and down
Play it again
To and from
Count to ten

Circling time while my heart breaks on anything
Betrayal and pride as my heart's yearning for everything
Suddenly I'm mystified
Like my emotions have died
I can't say I haven't tried
Going on this auto atomic ride
