I Take It Back

By Mrs King

Yeah, you made me smile
for a while
but the jokes not funny any more.
I was happy, now I'm not
and you're the reason that I got
One foot out the door.

You pull your tricks,
get your kicks
and never think ‘bout tomorrow
I'm not impressed
don't get depressed
don't want to hear about your sorrow.
Just go.

Cause I know I helped you out
now, you've got to let me out.
You're not good for me
I'm too good for you.
I hate to say it but
E V E R Y B O D Y
knows it's true.

I'm a big girl, I'll be all right.
All I need is my own life
and you
out of my sight.
So go.
Why do you make me tell you twice?
I tried to say it nice.
So sad you, and your tears.
As if you didn't live without me
all of your 19 years.

You make me suffocate.
Things will escalate
and fall
into your bottomless pit.
I can't deal with you.
I can't follow through.
I can't handle it.

I know what I said
but I
TAKE IT BACK!
