Good Morning, Texas

Texas is a big state, this is true,
But a true Texan’s heart is too.

We probably brag too much, no doubt,
But, we have something to brag about.

Some people say that we’re too loud,
That’s probably caused by being proud.

O.K. maybe we talk louder than we should,
If I knew how to ‘write’ this ‘louder’, I would.

“Good morning Texas” is all I meant to say,
I reckon I just had to say it in a Texas way.
