My High School Reunion

By Walt Perryman

Iíve noticed my High School reunion as I walk in the door.
And how thereís not as many as there was the one before.

As I get older these class reunions are a different affair,
Because I look around the room to see who is not there.

God gave memories to the living like me and you,
So, we can visit the missing ones when we want to.

Isnít it amazing how quickly a lifetime can pass,
The day is near when no one will be here from our class.

Enjoy every minute and be thankful for getting old,
Because time cannot be bought with silver or gold.
