Workshop?

By Mary E. Adair

At Health South Rehab Hospital today
Santa's Workshop got underway
The elves, tis true, not ones you'd expect to find
But their industry was spiked with words most kind
To say each worker knew his work
Would be overkind but none tried to shirk.
Little parts and bits of this and that
Were soon to become Santa in a hat--
Though cheerful thoughts of the coming season
Were not the purpose or the reason
For those assembled, it proved fine
And helped to nimble fingers and each mind.
So the day would have to be termed a success,
But truth is, Santa wouldn't put up with the mess!
