I Can't Let You Go

By Bruce Clifford

On my own
I found I could never let go
In the night
Wanting you to hold me tight

I love you so
The truth must be told
Coming out from the cold
I can't let you go

The Winter fades
Dreams of you don't go away
Like a memory that's saved
And a heart that just tends to break

I love you so
The truth must be told
Coming out from the cold
I can't let you go

There was magic in the air
The wind blowing through your hair
Maybe it was just a dream
If it were never meant to be
Then my soul would be free

Time doesn't fade
Your scent still remains
The truth must be said
Or I would be better off dead

I love you so
The truth must be told
Coming out from the cold
I can't let you go
I can't let you go
I can't
I can't let you go
