(A) Broken Heart

By Bruce Clifford

When I fly the sky I get a feeling
I don't know what to say anymore
Times grow shorter through these lonely nights
Every time I see you the sun passes by

I sit down and I wonder what became of my life
I look in the mirror and I find a broken heart

Soon I was forgiving
I was wanted for a crime
People loving and people giving
Life is my crime

I sit down and I wonder what became of my life
I look in the mirror and I find a broken heart

A broken heart
A broken heart
I look in the shadows just to find my broken heart

When I fly the sky I get a feeling
I'm not sure who I am anymore
Days get longer as the nights turn into streams
I look in the mirror and I find a broken heart

I sit down and I wonder what became of my life
I look in the mirror and I find a broken heart
