One Kiss Goodbye

By Bruce Clifford

Playing with the time bomb
Living for the red
Taking your inference
It's all been said

Running in the atmosphere
Counting all the two's
The space between the horizon
Each cycle you're born to choose

This amazes me
You think you've got it made
This amazes me
You have it all in your head
It amazes me to think you thought
It all has been said

Pick a card, any card
Choose a straw, odds or evens
I will place a wager on this
In the end there will be just one kiss - goodbye

Stepping on this fertile dirt
Reaching out one by one
A leap of justice to end all reason
This is the year of comic book treason

Playing with the time bomb
Living in the blue
Images of synthetic plasma
It's all about you

This amazes me
You think you've got it made
This amazes me
You have it all in your head
It amazes me to think you thought
It all has been said

Pick a card, any card
Choose a straw, odds or evens
I will place a wager on this
In the end there will be just one kiss - goodbye
One kiss goodbye
