I'm Sitting Alone

By Bruce Clifford

Turn out the light
Nobody's home
The morning takes flight
I'm sitting all alone

Tell me about your life
Wake up a dream
From the corner of the day
You will fight to extreme

It's not I know you from the past and today
But if I wanted to hold you can get you to stay

Turn out the light
The music plays on
When true love feels right
And your favorite song

It's not my mind
It's not my heart
It's not my dreams
I knew it from start

It's not my line
It's not my time
It's not my fears
I knew it for years

It's not I know you from the past and today
But if I wanted to hold you can get you to stay
With me here today

Turn out the light
Nobody's home
The morning takes flight
I'm sitting all alone
I'm sitting alone
