Live and Let Live

By Bruce Clifford

I'm watching this world crumble before my very eyes
The panic in the building during this economic sunrise
Half the world might make it while the other half gives in
Tell me now have we reached this place where we've lost the will to forgive
Live and let live

I'm sitting back on my casual lounge chair waiting for the day
Sifting through some of the memories that are sill standing in my way
Half the world might make it while the other half gives in
Tell me how can we take it when we have lost the will to forgive
Live and let live

So I carry on like a broken record
Nobody listens
Nobody cares
It's as if I'm not there

Another bailout another tension
Another ruling on mans intervention
Another panic switch another lie
Another journey and another reason to cry

I'm watching this world crumble before my very eyes
The panic in the building during this economic sunrise
Half the world might make it while the other half gives in
Tell me now have we reached this place where we've lost the will to forgive
Live and let live
