Coo-Coo Crazy

By Phillip Hennessy

On the brink of madness
The other side of 'sane'
It's all gone coo-coo crazy
Now here we go, again

It's up and down and round and round,
There's nothing will make sense
This whole charade of seeming straight,
Is one big fat pretence

"Is all OK, and, are you fine,?
- You're looking really good,!"
I'm sick to death, my brain is dead
I'd kill me if I could.

Though what do you care anyway,
You're busy being you,
And nothing I say changes that,
You got too much to do

And as my nothing slips away
See, I'm just wanting Out
No-one cares and no-one shares
Its all a roundabout

"You're spinning out, get out of here,
...You're getting on our nerves,
The helping that we do for you
is more than you deserve"

It's All your fault, so get it right
the fun is over now
Now they want you out of sight
They just can't figure how

They'll lie to you, pretend it's safe,
the drugs You used, weren't clean
Take some of these, instead, they say
'we know where they have been'

Don't take drugs, it's bad, you see
Now here's some more for you...
Swallow this, four times a day
You'll never have a clue,!

Feeling angry,? Stay away,
Or we will call the feds
Shut your mouth and swallow
Now, here's your Legal meds.

And when you're numb, and gone, they'll say
"what more could we have done,?"
He's just another basket case,
Look,...here's another one...

On the brink of madness
The other side of 'sane'
It's all gone coo-coo crazy
Now here we go, again...
