You and Me

By Bruce Clifford

How many time will I let you break my heart
How many years since we've traveled worlds apart
It gets me down when my heart keeps sinking
I get turned around from all of this believing

Can't you see I love you
I try to show you everyday
It's so hard for me to forget you
You're with me everyday
In every way

You stole my heart centuries ago
Now there's a reason for us to dance soul to soul
You took me heart while I wasn't looking at my own
All I can think about are the moments we should hold

How many times to I have to explain
How I love you in so many different ways
I can't escape the memories of the way love used to be
You and me
