In The Blue

By Bruce Clifford

All of us are in the fight
We’re beggars and choosing walking in the light
Neon glasses on the wall
Leaving the capsule before the fall

We are all so sick and tired
The fun and games have all expired
Signals and galaxies are battered and torn
This is where I thought I belonged

All of us are in the fight
We’re winners and losers in the gunner's sight
Miniature reasons cry out to the view
So here I am living in the blue
