Nothing Seems Right Anymore

By Bruce Clifford

If tomorrow never came would any of this matter
Am I the one to blame above all of this chatter
We used to be strong
We were in a place we knew we belonged
If tomorrow never came would any of this matter

If the future was over today would you put up a fight
If your dreams got in your way would still see the light
We used to get along
We were once in synch singing the same song
If the future was over today would you put up a fight

Nothing seems right anymore
I’m telling you
Nothing seems right anymore
Can’t you see
Nothing seems right anymore
Time’s moving on
Nothing seems right anymore
That’s for sure

If tomorrow never came would any of this matter
If you’re too busy passing the blame would you still rise above this spatter
We used to understand
We were in line walking hand in hand
If tomorrow never came would any of this matter

Deep are the blues and greens of the sea
Speaking out to me
Calling me
Destiny
