I Got A Call From Me

By Bud Lemire

I answered the phone to see who it could be
When I looked at it, it said that it was me
How could it be possibly be me?
That's what it said on called I.D.

I didn't leave myself a message at all
What would be the reason I would call
I am right here and only have one mind
So maybe it might have been a Spiritual sign

I know I didn't call myself, and yet it was me
The information was simply there for me to see
I tried to figure that one out
I wonder what that was all about

Phone trickery, could it be
Or spirits trying to contact me
What could it all mean
Is there something in between

Maybe you should call you
See if you can get through
If you answer, wait and see
I might get another call from me

Author Note:

I received a call from me today. The Caller I.D,
said my full name and phone number. It seemed
very odd to have that show up on the phone, because
that is me. That is my information and usually it shows
the people who are calling. The phone rang, I never
called me. I tried to take a picture of it, and while
I tried to focus, the phone stopped ringing and the
information faded. Could it have been phone tricks?
Or something more?
