Our Emotional Glow

Hiding out deep in space
Take away what’s left to trace
What we take with us when on the go
This is who we are in our emotional glow

Looking out in this place
Slip inside this human race
What we’re after we might never know
I know where we belong in our emotional glow

Emotional glow is not a knock on these times
Emotional glow is not about falling behind

Hiding out in a cloud
Looking out for one face in the crowd
What we take with us when we hit the road
This is what we defend in our emotional glow

Emotional glow is not a knock on these times
Emotional glow is not the best way to arrive

Hiding out deep in space
Jump through time without a trace
What we count on most is out of control
This is who we are now in our emotional glow
