Visitors to Louisville

By LinnieJane Burks

Our city's resplendent
    With charm and allure,
The homes are the loveliest
    Wealth can secure

There are broad sweeping avenues,
    Schools, churches, parks;
Historical characters
    Here, too, placed their marks.

Beauty is resting
    On each hill and bog;
But you'll never see it!
    It's covered with S M O G!
