Life Don't Change

By Phillip Hennessy

Life don't change, WE change it
take it apart, and re-arrange it
lift it up, and put it down
take so much, and turn around
stop and think and wonder why
smoke and drink and sometimes cry
laugh and joke at any expense
then go and try to make some sense

The questions we ask, the answers we seek
the words that we pray.... the answers so weak
This long and winding road we walk
those things for which we're scared to talk

These lessons learnt, those never heard
those teachers burnt with Hate, (absurd)
no matter how we try to shape it
Life don't change,
.......we just escape it

It's not about the Time we've spent
It's all about our TRUE INTENT
It's not about the Wars we fight
It's how we're going to THINK it right.
