Remember Who We Are

By Bruce Clifford

Enemies and contracts the side effects
Are guaranteed to blow your mind.
Blow your mind.
The hypocrites on the second floor.
Each side effect through the cosmic door.
You never know if you are one of a kind.
Every time.

Bottled up and can't let go.
Emotional chaos every place I go.
Who are you and what do you want?
I've traveled from every corner of earth.
Every corner of earth,
You were there with me.
You were with me.
I know it.

Can't you give me some credit for being who I am?
Can't you give me a break and find a way to understand?
Can't you follow my lead and understand my heart?
Why won't you listen or remember who we are?
Remember who we are?
