Can You Remember Me

By Bruce Clifford

Can you remember me?
The boy I used to be.
Have you set aside?
Gone on with your life.

Can you remember me?
All of our ancient history.
What I'm trying to say.
I could never escape.

Get me out of this fear.
My mind is gone and I can't think straight.
Hope you're doing great.
I can't think straight.

Can you remember a time?
When we would sit and unwind.
How we used to be.
Can you remember me?
