Think I'll Lay Here Beside You

By Bruce Clifford

6/29/02

Think I'll lay here beside you
Talk of all we've been through
The misty rain against the window
Memories can never fade away

Think I'll read a book on mountains
Think I'll fly across the sea
Collecting moments along side a fountain
Moments that tend to set one free
Memories can never die between you and me

I know it's been crazy for some time
Maybe all we need is some time to unwind

Think I'll write a book on freedom
Think I'll lay down in the sand
All these years of contemplation
Sacrifice few could understand
Memories can never stop a heart that needs to mend

Think I'll lay here beside you
