I Wake to You, and Gleam

By Lseeker

My thoughts ride upon you,
a flowing river riding the waves through.

Warmly at your presence, my tears shed
into my heart you have led.

My dreams disturbing, but then
I wake to you, and gleam.

My mind a restless never ending maze,
but you've help lift the haze.

My soul sings a song,
for your enchanting words I so long.

I know the way of fate,
and wonder if I was born a bit too late.

But I can't help to stop when I see you,
and feel the spirit kinder anew.

Dreaming dancing,
         and long romancing.

Breath washed away,
         by your enchanted sway.

Midday fades into midnight,
while we sigh together in the moonlight.

Then dance under the stars,
         and wish upon Mars.

Stumbling, tumbling to the ground,
we laugh together, such a pleasant sound.

Silently holding,
         spirit releases warmth unfolding

From this darkness we seem to be swallowed in,
and the greed of self sin.

Comes a wondrous light of beauty in heart,
shooting through the darkness like a dart.

Penetrating my soul, and hearts desire.
Leaving my spirit feeling a little higher...

Thank you my sweetest Light
in my darkness, thank you star in my night
