Ode To A Goddess

By Dave Sterenchock

And then I met a Goddess sweet,
With healing touch and loving eyes.
But there are those who yet despise,
The love that makes my life complete.
On her throne she takes her seat,
And looks out over evening skies.
In moonlight every Angel flies,
Her grace and favour they entreat.
Her favour for all living things,
In sky above or Earth below.
The joy and happiness she brings,
I'd never dreamt, but now I know.
