Damaged Goods

By M. Jay Mansfield

Damaged goods…
Rotated back among the good stock…
Dents hidden…
Labels taped…
Upon the shelf once more…

The contents may be fine…
Or is it certain death…
The doctor doesn’t care…
He just “proved” his case…

Tell the public to beware…
The streets are stocked with damaged goods…
The smile may be genuine…
Or hide the silent killer's mind…

Is it worth the chance they take?
Playing freely with our Lives…
The Doctors don’t always bury their mistakes…
Sometimes they take the streets…
and simply walk away…
