The Goodbye I'll Never Say

By Brooke Clifford

You tell me you're leaving,
and probably not coming back.
I'll be all alone,
with no one to talk to.
Why would you leave me,
knowing I'd feel so vunerable?
It's the goodbye I'll never say.
The words that won't
part from my lips.
So now you're gone,
and all I ever do,
is think about you.
My heart shadowing in my pain,
my mind ready to burst.
It's the goodbye I'll never say.
The words that won't
part from my lips.
Why would you leave me,
knowing I'd feel so vunerable?
Goodbye?
