Teen Titans- My Own Story - Part 1

By Brooke Clifford

Part One

It was a rainy day, in the city. It fit Beast Boy's mood, especially what happened with Terra. A Teen Titan, a True Friend. That was what she was. He was walking a sidewalk, currently feline-formed, head hung low. He wasn't paying attention, too absorbed in his sorrow. Poor Green-One. Crossing the street, his head turned lightly, but it was too late, the white light blinding him. Then, it happened; he was the victim of a hit-and-run car accident. His bloody body lay there, lifeless and limp, subconscious thoughts racing through his mind, breathing lightly. No one was near to save him. It was a rainy day, in the city. It fit Beast Boy's mood.

It was lucky though, no one saw the shadow gingerly pick up the fallen creature. No one saw the figure bring the unconscious Beast Boy to an alleyway. Touch was soft, delicate. It was a woman's touch. The shadow was human... Sort of. Creamy white skin that looked as if it hasn't seen the light of day for months this 'female' had, but sun-kissed freckles thinly splashed across her face told a different story. Raven black hair fell a bit below the shoulder, always bone straight. Ice blue optics held nothing but deep sorrow and secrets, but were masked by a blanket of emotionless expression. Black baggy cargos held onto her, below the waist, clinging for dear life. Black t-shirt also hung to her petite, almost boney frame, and black worn out converse plastered to her feet. At the moment, she had a disguise to keep herself... And her secret... Safe; A hat, and a black jacket tied at the waist. A black fingerless glove was worn on the left hand, the name "Lianna" printed in what looked to be dripping wet blood.

Mending. That was what she was doing. Stopping the bleeding, disinfecting wounds. He was a mess, and she knew it. Her eyes held focus, determination, and concentration. But she said nothing in the process. Silent, one hundred percent of the time.

His eyes slowly fluttered, alarm taking over as he jumped out of her grasp, hissing at a scary-looking figure.

"Who are you?" He demanded, angry, confused, and scared.

"Me?" She asked softly, eyebrow cocked. Hat moved, to reveal a large pair of velvet black cat ears protruding out of her skull. His eyes widened.

She was like him... She was an anthro.
