Teen Titans - My Own Story - Part 3

By Brooke Clifford

Part Three

(My Own Story)

"Thief? Like... A criminal?" he asked, now a bit worried. She merely shook her head, looking up to the sky as the rain finally slowed to a stop.

"No, not /really/..." she lied. Beast Boy would put her in prison if she told the truth, and Brother wouldn't be happy about it. He shrugged.

"You live in the alley?"

His eyes widened slightly. "Why?"

"You know that fire demon that 'almost' destroyed the city? My home was in the forest." Her head lowered, eyes closed.

He put his hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry to hear that. Why don't you stay with me and the others?"

"Yeah!" He smiled, transforming into an otter and began swimming across. Lianna dove in, head held above the water to avoid getting water logged.

When they reached the tower, Beast Boy shook dry and transformed back. Lianna took off her socks, shoes and her over-clothes. Underneath, she wore black shorts and a white wifebeater. He blinked a bit, watching her, but led her inside the tower.
