Teen Titans- My Own Story -part 8

By Brooke Clifford

Part Eight

(My Own Story)

Beast Boy took Lianna to the city park, walking side by side, smiling.

The park was really pretty, the trees and various flowers made the area livelier. Birds chirping, little animals scampering about. The sky was rose red and pink, splashed with orange and purple. Pants rolled up, he held her hand. They blushed, walking as the waves brushed against their legs, caressing their skin.

“Maybe… You and your brother could come to the Tower?” Beast Boy tried.

Lianna looked at him, her eyes held tears, “ You don’t understand, Beast boy. I can’t leave we can’t leave-“ Her words were silenced, for she was mostly shocked; he hugged her, his embrace warm and inviting.

“It’s okay,” He whispered, “I do understand.” He felt her wrap her arms around him. It made him smile with delight.

“Beast Boy, thanks. For everything. You’ve really been a good friend,” Lianna said, letting go of him with a gentle smile.

The two sat down on the sandy shore, hand in hand, watching the sun finally sleep beneath the horizon. The moon rose delicately from its daylight slumber, radiance increasing dramatically.

“I.. I think I might come back to your Tower. I might bring Nick with me,”Lianna whispered into the wind, not looking at her friend.

Beast Boy grinned, getting up and taking her hand again, they raced for the tower with showers of laughter and smiles.
