I am creative and spiritual
I wonder about life after death
I hear the heartbeat of the ghost in my soul
I see myself as another person
I want to feel alright
I am creative and spiritual

I pretend to be happy and strong
I feel connected to my writing
I regret looking back on the past
I worry what I will become in the future
I cry on the inside, even though I don't cry on the outside
I am creative and spiritual

I understand nothing about life
I say what I feel if I think it's right
I dream haunted dreams
I try to be happy when I know I'm not
I hope to be accepted for who I am
I am creative and spiritual

I called it #quot#version 2.0#quot# to show that it was my second time doing a poem like this (You can see my other one in my bio if you#apos#d like). I was in a morbid#comma# gothic#comma# depressed mood that day#comma# so excuse me for that; I#apos#m tending to have more of those days as I get older... It#apos#s sad and good for me#comma# I suppose. I love the gothic style- if anyone reads manga (but I doubt it on this site...)#comma# pick up a copy of Godchild by Kaori Yuki. It#apos#s terribly gory#comma# but I love it#comma# it#apos#s got an Alice in Wonderland theme! ^^ *Loves AiW*
