The Life You Made

By Bud Lemire

The time when your love's not flowing free
Is when it's consumed by anger, fear, or jealousy
It causes emotions to be a mess
When you let inside, emotional stress

The waves of oneness, making you whole
Is like a hurricane, damaging the soul
You must be prepared, when you take your place
Of the danger errupting, that all souls face

The soul is forever, and shall always be
But so many things destroy humanity
We must search within, to find what's there
Into completeness as one, when we learn to share

We must value all creatures in the atmosphere
For their Earthly role, and their presence here
Each creature is unique in their own way
And important in the role they play

Don't let someone else get your goat
Don't let their waves sink your boat
Don't get mad, don't be afraid
Make the best of The Life You Made
