If You Have Your Health

By John I. Blair

If you have your health,
You have everything
They say. But what
If health eludes you,
Is nothing left? With
Every breath I draw
I’ll testify that
When I lost my health
I gained a fortune
Of another kind;
I found out
Who my friends are.
