TV Marketing Tip

By Mary E. Adair

We turn the dial and view the ad-filled guide
As we search for something to just relax,
But the slots are filled with what used to hide
Behind closed doors -- all the sad, shocking facts.

We watch the commentators slant the news
Whether sports, fashion, or politico;
Cleverly thrash each other with their views,
While making hash of truth - and lies, ditto.

Though pooper-scoopers have been made,
They've not touched market for the whole of it,
With public debates and all that is said,
We need to shovel out the political - wit.
