If You Only Knew

By Bruce Clifford

If I didn't fall in love a thousand times
Then I never fell at all
I remember when you came to me
Once again you had to see me fall

If I didn't fall in love a thousand times
Every time I think of you
I could hear your voice calling out to me
Telling me all that's true

If you only knew it's the look in your eyes
The way you touch my soul over and over again
If you only knew about my dreams and my fears
I'm not sure where this goes from here
I'm not sure where this goes from here

If I wake up in the middle of the night thinking of you
Does this mean I have fallen again
Fallen in love with you
I'm not sure where this goes

If I didn't fall in love a thousand times
Then you would never exist at all
The world would be dark without your laughter
I would never have learned how to fall

If I didn't fall in love ten thousand times
Every second of every day
I know the joy you bring to me
If you were gone I would have never fallen today
