Rambling About A Little Bit More!

By Walt Perryman

It seems to me that I’ve always wanted more,
And I did not even know what I wanted it for.

I always wanted bigger houses and new cars,
And I’ve wasted a lot in restaurants and bars.

I lived wanting more money to buy more stuff,
But I never reached a point when I had enough.

I buy stuff that I will never use or even want to,
But I go buy another one because I needed two.

When I buy something and don’t know what for.
I’ve forgotten, there are times when less is more.

I’m learning all I need is more of God in my heart,
I haven’t made it yet, but I am off to a good start.

I don’t know if you ever felt this same way before.
But if so, instead of buying more, try praying more.
