Sometimes When The Dust Is Stirred

By John I. Blair

Sometimes when the dust is stirred
Things rise up that should not be disturbed

And this can lead to sounds
You would rather not be heard.

Lead to memories
That do not please.

Memories that should have stayed
Where they were left

There in the dust,
There in the past.

It is not always good to be remembered.
