Life's Rhapsody

By pbobby

(March 1, 2002)

A meeting silently held
Eyes speaking when words cannot
Arms gently entwining
Knees too weak to stand
Soft words spoken slowly
In an embrace of friends
A moment when eyes
Search the soul of another
Seeing the spirit beneath the depths
Words unspoken yet understood
Hands seeking hands
Emotions touch the divine
Hearts seek two bodies speak
Images so real yet so faint
Passions smooth along
While sweet vapors linger
Love's brow still moist
As sweet passions glow
The scent shows more of the other
Inhaling the moment of love's power
Knowingly both take the leap
Eager to please the loved with nervous starts
Hurrying to be the first to give
Spirits soar as love
Finds its way past all that hinders
Earth and moon meet the heavens outstretched
No power greater than loving another
The breath comes quicker
Hands guiding hands
Strangers no more
Silent longings
Eyes searching
Hearts yearning
Lovers at last
Two have become more than one
Submitting, pleasing with no regret
All is calm
From joys ineffable.
