Wind Chimes

By John I. Blair

(©2002)

Some wind chimes are hung
In a wide-open place
So every bit of breeze
Will set them ringing,
And some are kept secure
Where only strongest gusts
Can get them swinging.
The sheltered ones
May sound as sweet,
But they sing so seldom.
